On startup, the GUI client loads all employees of the local health care institution. To login, users enter their password and the list is scanned for a match. This eliminates the need to type in the id number with each login. In shared environments, users must login with each access and lock the system when they walk away.
The GUI client can be started automatically when your PC boots (starts) or can be started by double clicking an icon, from the start menu, or as configured by your system manager. After starting or locking the GUI client, the following window is displayed.
Enter your password and click the Login button to begin using the local system.
All GUI client windows, including the login window, are designed to allow use with touchscreen monitors. Choose a numeric password when using touchscreens.
